![]() Furthermore, due to limited ammunition I've had to use ammo packs, which makes my vehicle more volatile (which in of itself has plus and minus points). I could build extremely light and fast, but that would result in my becoming much more susceptible to taking hits The fact I'm using two drones means my vehicle is fairly large so even at speed I'm a somewhat easy target. As an example, my focus on cannons with drones as support means my vehicles are slower due to the items I've currently got available. Things wont start opening up again until you advance more and have the income/skills to expand to other areas.Įverything you do will have plus points and negative points, so be sure to consider these going forward. Your best bet is to experience everything you can and find where you want to to go, you start with a lot of freedom but your mid game will be much more limited if you want to do well. I was not keen on shotguns or auto-cannons, but that was more of a play-style thing. I moved on to cannons, which do incredible amounts of damage for that point in the game, but suffer other weaknesses such as slower/more difficult targeting and firing speeds, as well as limited ammunition. On the flip side they're very easily destroyed, an unlucky shot from a cannon could totally disarm you as an example. ![]() I wouldn't run into things trying to dominate the battlefield while using them, but as support you can very easily shut down the enemies ability to function (shooting off parts, wheels and weapons). I started with machine guns, I found them ideal close to mid range weapons and fantastic for controlling the enemy. It isn't until you're using purple or better that other considerations really come into mind. Blue quality items aren't that difficult to get, and they clearly represent improved versions of white items. Speaking as someone fairly new to the game I agree with the above, if you're on the lower end you want to try out a bunch of things.
